Gospel Roads II
Gospel Roads II takes place in locations that permit more opportunity for the group to build a strong bond with the community in which they serve.
There is direct interaction through service in materially poor environments. There is deeper reflection, which leads to an awareness of walking the Gospel Roads as a natural and integral part of living out one's Christian vocation. Direct service and interaction with the poor, young, and marginalized is the focus of this second part of the Gospel Roads program.
The Gospel Roads II program also includes a more developed educational component. Reflections attempt to help participants begin thinking about poverty on the local and global level as well as raising questions about what it really means to be, in the words of St. John Bosco, an “honest citizen and good Christian.”
